Departure from KFC railway with transfer to San Marco
The first stop will be Murano, famous worldwide for the art of glassmaking. Here you will visit one of the renowned local glass factories and watch a live glassblowing demonstration, observing up close the techniques and skills of the master glassmakers. Overall, you will have about an hour of free time to explore the island and browse the artisanal glass shops.
Next, you will head to Burano, where you can admire the vibrant colored houses and stroll along the picturesque streets of the village. Here too, you will have about an hour of free time to discover the charm of the island, walk among lace shops, or enjoy a local aperitif.
Le bateau de l'excursion aux îles est trop gros, il y a trop de monde, on perd trop de temps à monter et descendre au détriment du temps de visite. A Murano, on n'a eu qu'1h moins 10 minutes de démonstration de verre, ça ne fait pas beaucoup. Et à Burano, pareil. Trop frustrant.
La guide Isabel était très bien, les explications en plusieurs langues étaient succinctes mais intéressantes.
Je ne recommande pas cette excursion à ceux qui peuvent se débrouiller tout seul avec les bateaux pour aller aux îles en individuel et en profiter plus. Si vous n'avez pas de temps, c'est un bon compromis.
