Important information	GENERAL REGULATIONS The event will take place even with adverse weather condition as the Galleon is equipped with a covering structure and has heating. The boat is accessible to the differently-abled. The departure time must be observed as the event is itinerant and it will not be possible to embark after the scheduled time. Please be punctual in order to avoid any misunderstandings or problems for the management and so as not to affect the success of the event. The program of event may vary depending on environmental conditions, technical factors or other factors, at the unchallengeable judgement of the Captain. All passengers aboard the Galleon are covered by third party civil liability insurance, under current law. WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATIONS The event will be confirmed with a minimum of 30 participants. Free cancellation or possibility to change date up to 72 hours before the event. No money will be refunded for cancellations in the 72 hours before the event. Non-participation in the event due to the late arrival of a client will not result in money being refunded. In case of cancellation of the event by the company due to technical reasons like breakdowns, or the conditions of the weather or sea, the closing of harbour due to order of the competent authority and/or due to force majeure beyond the control of the Captain or the management (with the exclusion of client’s reasons), the company will offer the opportunity to book in the future or will refund the money. If it will not be possible to leave the dock to start the sailing or to continue the sailing, after the boarding of the guests and/or after the beginning of the event/dinner, due to technical reasons like breakdowns, the conditions of the weather or sea, the closing of harbour due to order of the competent authority and/or due to force majeure beyond the control of the Captain or the management, no money will be refunded.

Esperienza davvero molto divertente e ben organizzata. La festa in barca durante il Carnevale di Venezia è stata coinvolgente, con bella musica, tanta gente in maschera e un’atmosfera unica. Lo staff è stato gentile e tutto si è svolto senza problemi, sia nella prenotazione che durante l’attività.

Consiglio questa esperienza a chi vuole vivere il Carnevale in modo diverso dal solito, soprattutto se si è in compagnia. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e bellissima vista notturna su Venezia dalla laguna. Sicuramente da rifare.

Prenotato e ovviamente pagato con largo anticipo, la sera dell’evento abbiamo provato a telefonare decine di volte sia al numero fisso, sia al cellulare indicato per le “comunicazioni urgenti” perché non riuscivamo a trovare il luogo esatto d’imbarco.
Nel dubbio, inviata anche una mail, cui non abbiamo mai ricevuto riscontro.
Era indicato l’orario di imbarco, NON quello di partenza e, giunti sul posto pochissimi istanti dopo le 20, il galeone già non c’era, né si vedeva neppure delle vicinanze.
A che ora sia salpato, non è dato sapere, evidentemente le procedure d’imbarco di qualche decina di persone saranno avvenute con largo anticipo.
Sicuramente sarà stata una buona esperienza per chi sia riuscito a partecipare, per noi solo soldi buttati e tanta frustrazione per un sabato sera di carnevale rovinato.

Gentile Ospite, ci dispiace sinceramente per quanto accaduto e comprendiamo la frustrazione che una situazione del genere possa aver generato. L’imbarcazione, nel rispetto degli ospiti che hanno acquistato il servizio, deve attenersi scrupolosamente al programma previsto. Sul voucher di prenotazione è indicato di presentarsi al punto d’imbarco con almeno 15 minuti di anticipo rispetto all’orario indicato, proprio per consentire lo svolgimento regolare delle procedure ed evitare ritardi nella partenza. Insieme alla conferma viene inoltre inviato l'indirizzo e le coordinate esatte per raggiungere il punto d’imbarco, ci dispiace abbia avuto difficolta nel trovarlo Purtroppo i nostri uffici amministrativi sono chiusi la sera, pertanto non ci è possibile rispondere alle email o al numero fisso in fascia serale. Ci scusiamo invece per il mancato riscontro al numero di emergenza: deve essersi verificato un problema di ricezione, poiché normalmente rispondiamo sempre a tutti gli ospiti. Comprendiamo il disappunto per non aver potuto partecipare all’evento e ci dispiace per la serata mancata. Rimaniamo a disposizione in privato qualora desideriate fornirci ulteriori dettagli.

Beaucoup trop de monde, impossible de s'asseoir à l'intérieur.
Les gens se sont d'abord jettés sur le buffet (bon, mais sans plus). On a du passer une grosse partie de la soirée dehors sur le pont car il y avait clairement trop de monde par rapport à la place qu'il y a.
L'ambiance musicale était bien et le personnel sympathique.
C'était quand même une bonne soirée mais trop cher par rapport à ce que c'était.

Nous comprenons que l’espace ait pu vous sembler trop fréquenté à certains moments. Nous tenons toutefois à préciser que le nombre d’invités présents était de 70 personnes, alors que l’embarcation est homologuée pour accueillir plus du double de passagers en toute sécurité. Lors de l’embarquement et pendant le buffet, les invités ont tendance à se regrouper dans la partie centrale du bateau, ce qui peut accentuer cette impression, d’autant plus avec les costumes de carnaval souvent plus volumineux. The carnival party on the galleon in Venice left disappointing impressions, mainly due to serious organizational problems during boarding.

First, there was no organizer present at the boarding location. No responsible person provided instructions, coordinated the process, or assisted guests. This created confusion and uncertainty among participants.

Second, all guests had valid vouchers, but boarding was conducted using a printed name list instead of vouchers. It was dark, and the person controlling access used a flashlight to search for each surname manually in a very long list. This process was extremely slow and inefficient, causing delays and unnecessary waiting.

Third, there was no possibility to leave coats or outerwear. The weather outside was cold, and all guests arrived wearing heavy clothing. The absence of a cloakroom created discomfort, since guests had to keep coats with them during the event.

Finally, the event itself did not feel like a carnival. The atmosphere resembled a regular party rather than a true carnival experience. There was no immersive environment, no theatrical elements, and no authentic carnival ambiance expected in Venice.

Overall, the concept of hosting an event on a galleon has strong potential, but the lack of proper organization, especially during boarding, significantly affected the experience.

We are sorry that the boarding experience and some organizational aspects did not meet your expectations, and we understand the inconvenience this may have caused. Boarding operations, especially during large events, can sometimes require additional verification steps, but we acknowledge that the process should be as smooth and well-organized as possible. We would also like to clarify that there is no supervised cloakroom service on board; however, there is a dedicated coat hanging area located at the entrance, under the staircase. It is sufficiently spacious to accommodate all guests on board. It is possible that this area was not clearly noticed, and we apologize if this was not adequately pointed out during boarding. Your observations regarding the overall atmosphere are important to us and will be taken into careful consideration as we continue to refine the experience we offer. 2nd time good but not as good

This is our second time, everything was good except for the condition of the bathrooms...it was a full boat, and the bathrooms were having issues. We told staff and they seemed unconcerned. The staff does have a lot to do, but still--- the men's room was unusable so one bathroom for all the passengers...not ideal, and they got progressively messy. Food is plentiful and drinks flow, music is always good. Just need to make sure that bathrooms are functional.

We are truly very sorry for the issue with the bathroom and completely understand the inconvenience this caused during your evening. Unfortunately, the problem occurred because some paper towels were thrown into the toilet, which blocked the system. As the bathrooms on board operate with a mechanical marine system—different from regular household plumbing, when a blockage happens, the unit must be completely dismantled to be fixed. This procedure cannot be carried out quickly, especially while guests are on board. We sincerely regret the discomfort this situation created and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback is important to us, and we will continue to remind guests of the correct use of onboard facilities to help prevent similar situations in the future. We hope to welcome you again for an even smoother experience next time.

È stata una serata meravigliosa quella del Carnival party! C'era un buffet ricco di pietanze curate e deliziose, da bere illimitatamente e dei camerieri gentilissimi che ci hanno accolto con un bicchiere di prosecco. I due cantanti erano bravissimi, credevo fosse musica originale registrata invece poi ho visto che c'era una coppia che cantava. Dopo cena è iniziata la musica col dj e ci siamo tutti scatenati in pista. Il galeone era molto suggestivo e ben arredato, caldo e sembrava di esser stati catapultati in un'altra epoca, complici anche le maschere tipiche veneziane di tutti noi. Abbiamo navigato su e giù per la laguna per 4 ore, salpando dal museo navale dove ci hanno riportato a mezzanotte. L'apoteosi è stata quando hanno messo fondo veneziano mentr passavamo davanti a piazza San Marco! Esperienza da rifare, tutto perfetto, dal momento della prenotazione in poi, le comunicazioni sono state chiare ed esaustive!

GRANDE FESTA A BORDO

Abbiamo partecipato a due serate a bordo del galeone veneziano venerdì 28 febbraio e sabato 1marzo. Sono tanti anni che partecipo all'evento e con Sonia era la settima/ottava volta.
Organizzazione sempre ottima, musica e cantante più brava e coinvolgente alla seconda serata.
Sempre buono il buffet anche se via via con il tempo le portate e la quantità/qualità sono un pò diminuite. Ottime le lasagne.
Sempre buona la disponibilità delle bevande anche se migliorerei la qualità delle bottiglie di vino.
Il personale e il servizio veramente di qualità, tutti molto gentili e mi sembra tutti italiani.
Come ogni anno il divertimento è assicurato anche grazie al fatto che tutti gli ospiti hanno una grande voglia di ballare e divertirsi.
La trovo sempre uno delle migliori feste a cui partecipiamo durante l'anno. Complimenti.

The idea is fun, the execution could be improved. There was no instruction one you arrived (actually not great before that as the ticket had one address and the email another). People pushed to be admitted then pounced on the buffet like vultures. There was no instruction or queue. There were a few seats but only tables for about 10% of the crowd (and it was very crowded) and bench seats for another 30 percent. The rest of us were left to balance drinks and plates.. There was a menu card but no labels on the plates so you didn't know what you were eating. The staff was nice, and the food was good. I think most people filled up on antipasti as it wasn't clear there would be more courses. There was plenty of good prosecco and wine. We enjoyed the band. Would not go again.

It’s possible that the Carnival costumes, which are often larger, required more space when guests were seated, which may have led to a perception that the seating was more limited than it actually was. Una magica notte a Venezia

Bellissimo Galeone Veneziano dove si respira una magica atmosfera resa ancora più affascinante dai partecipanti tutti in maschera, piacevole la musica di accompagnamento per tutto il periodo della cena a buffet e divertente la discoteca che hanno creato dopo liberando il centro della sala.
Uniche note negative: non poter sfruttare la parte scoperta del Galeone causa pioggia;
e il cibo cotto, in particolare i primi piatti, non all'altezza della situazione.
Per questo tipo di esperienza ritengo ci sia un ottimo rapporto offerta/prezzo.
Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.
Comoda e facile la prenotazione online.
E' un'esperienza che consiglio a chi vuole vivere una magia notte a Venezia nel periodo del Carnevale!

Tuttavia, ci dispiace di apprendere che alcuni piatti, in particolare i primi, non hanno soddisfatto le sue aspettative. La sua opinione è estremamente importante per noi e faremo del nostro meglio per migliorare Ci fa grandissimo piacere invece, sapere che il nostro personale si sia dimostrato gentile e disponibile durante la permanenza a bordo. Super party, great for Carnival

Visiting Venice during Carnival is simply not complete without dressing up yourself. For 2 years in a row I visited Venice during the 2nd carnival weekend. In all honesty, I was not a fan of carnival at all until I visited Venice. The atmosphere is magical. Far from the loud music with lots of drunk people you see in other places around Europe. The masks and costumes are just amazing. To really celebrate it you can visit many parties in town, but the big gala ones are all very expensive. Therefore I opted for my group for the intimate and super fun party at the Galeone. We just came back and I’m again surprised how well this party is built up. Once you enter the boat you find yourself between almost a 100 nice people, all dressed up for the occasion. Food is already served, meaning the appetizers. Don’t stuff yourself too fast, because there are definitely more dishes coming! Taste and in abundance. If you like wine, rest assured they will be walking around with the bottles once the party starts. Speaking about the party itself, the music starts with classy songs, first by a DJ, then live sung by a good singer. At some point the singer takes a saxophone to warm up the crowd. After that all dinner tables are taken away to make space for the real party, and what a party that is! We had a blast, from beginning to end. And the very best thing is that if you feel it’s getting too warm, then just go to one of the decks to enjoy the scenery of the Venetian laguna and the stars above. I loved it again, and will come back in 2021!!
